Today for my Katzelkraft DT post I have made another art journal. Yes, I know boring but it is my favourite thing to do. I did try to put some humour in it though and hopefully it will make you chuckle a little ...
I started with the sky. I took a piece of paper and put some Distress inks on it with a blending tool. I used Broken China and Weathered Wood. I then stamped the sky with the cloud stamps and white ink. As it didn't stand out much and also didn't want to dry quick enough I poured some white embossing powder over the top, making part of the clouds nice and white and drying the ink at the same time!
Next I tore two pieces of white paper and adhered them to the bottom of the page. These are the snowbanks. I added some Distress Ink and some white paint to make it look more like snow.
I then stamped all the Santa's on the snow and on a separate piece of white card stock. I coloured the ones I stamped separately with Copic Markers, cut them out (without the ski's and the sticks) and adhered them on top of the ones on the snowbanks. The flags and the "Santa Race" board were hand drawn and adhered too.
I used the following stamps:
Thank you so much for stopping by today !

That is a pretty impressive cloud stamp, Corrie, and I love how you achieved the dimension with the embossing powder and heat tool! That was pure genius!! Love your Santa's and all their color. You have simply mastered the art of ink blending with your Copics, my friend. Love it when you hand draw, too. This is so much fun, but masterful in techniques used!! Mwah!
