With the right hat..

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today is the 1st of the month so it is my turn to show you some more ways to use the fabulour stamps designed by Roc Nicholas and sold through Stampotique. I made an Art journal page and this is it :

The page was coloured with Pan Pastels in Turqoise. I didn't think it was bright enough so I used some Distress Ink in the colour Broken China. I used Roc's fab 'Flying Heart' stamp as a background stamp and a stencil with white acrylic paint to create some interest. I also went around the edge with blue Archival Ink and doodled a line as a border.
I used the head of 'Bird Lady', gave her some eyelashes and drew her a new body. The flowers on her dress are the flowers from the 'Stacked Cups' stamp; I also used the whole bottom cup for her hat. I coloured everything with alcohol markers, clear embossed it and cut it out. I placed this younger version of Bird Lady on a bit of washi tape and because she is Bird Lady after all I couldn't resist using the little birdy from Roc's 'Just be U' stamp. Lastly I glued the sentiment on.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it....
