Is it wine o'clock yet?

and welcome to my blogpost for VivaLasVegaStamps! I have made a tag and it wasn't without problems... lol. Sometimes you have something in your head and it just doesn't work out that way so this tag is actually my second attempt !

and.. in the end I still added the washitape and the ribbon. I didn't film this as I thought it was finished but I kept looking at it and thought it needed something else.

Find joy in the ordinary

Hello everyone,

For today's inspiration post for UmWow Studio I have used one of the new digital images. They are fantastic ! I hope you'll check them out ! I have also used one of the stencils AND a chipboard, although I don't know whether that was the right thing to do. I finished the filming and then changed the place of the chipboard but I still think it might have been better without it. I'd like to know what you think.

How gorgeous are these two ! 

Here is the whole AJ spread. It was made in my homemade gel printed book. I learned this technique in a workshop by Birgit Koopsen. 

Anyway, I have filmed the process if you would like to know the AJ pages came together..

and welcome to my blogpost for Katzelkraft. For today I have made an art journal page with some new and and old stamp.

I don't think piggy believes her ! lol 

This is a gel printed background on which I added the swirl by heat embossing it with white powder and some white splatters. 

I stamped the lady and the pig, coloured them with Copic Markers and cut them out. I then stamped them on the background too. This way you can cut small bits off; like the chair legs and back and the pig's feet and tail. 

I added a bit of a floor with coloured pencils for them to sit/stand on and then stamped the sentiment on white paper. I added some colour around the edges and adhered the words separately onto the page.

Hello everyone,

and happy Thursday to you all. For Vera Lane Studio this week I have made an art journal page and a postcard.
For the AJ page I have used the Kat and Kadee set which was released this week.
Isn't she adorable ... and that cat !!

I am probably boring you to death with my gelli prints but they are so very handy for all sorts.... I have used two today. I added some stamping and washitape and that just finished it off I think.

Weirdos

It is the first of May today and that means the start of a new challenge over at Country View Challenges. This month's hostess is Monika and she chose "be humorous" as a theme. I have made an art journal page :

I have used the monster stamps from AAL&Create (set#53) designed by Olga Heldwein. Aren't they fun ! You can choose the faces for them too ! I started with model paste through a flower stencil. I then coloured the page with spray inks. After stamping and colouring the monsters I cut them out. I stamped the background with a text stamp and I also stamped the monsters again. The cut out ones were then adhered over the ones on the page. That way it looks perfect even if it isn't. I also added some washi tape for them to stand on and the sentiment is from the same set. It actually says 'wierdo' but I added the 's' from one of the other sentiments.

What else?

Hello everyone,

Today it is King's Day here in the Netherlands where we celebrate the birthday of King Willem-Alexander. There will be lots of festivities everywhere !

So after I post my card for Katzelkraft today I will be off to party ! lol

So, for today's card I have kept it simple. I stamped one of the birds and the sentiment on a piece of Bristol card stock and when it was dry I coloured everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I need to try other things sometimes because I always use my Copics otherwise. I must say that it is not as easy as it looks and I do prefer my Copic Markers.  I added some stamping and white pen and then matted the panel on a piece of grey card stock and on a card. 

I have used the following stamps:

KTZ169 for the sentiment

KTZ151 for the bird
