Hello everyone,

Today I have a tiny little book to show you. I made this for VivaLasVegaStamps! but that was not exactly planned that way.

Sometimes I just fancy doing something different and one day I made a little booklet from one sheet of 12' x 12' paper. It was lying on my desk when I  thought to cover the outside of it in fabric and next to add gesso to the cover and the pages too. Before I knew it I had stencilled, stamped and doodled on the pages and this little book was born ! I love it and will make more !

Here is the outside. If you want to make one of these books; there are lots of tutorials on the internet and youtube. Just look for 'book from one sheet of 12 x 12 paper'. 

There are 8 double spread mini art journals in this book and here are the photos.

Tim's tags 2015 - May

Hello everyone,

Time for another Sir Tim tag. May this time. And here it is:

As usual I had to improvise as I didn't have most of the stuff that Tim used. But that is the Challenge, right ? So I started with a #8 tag on which I glued some fabric. Next I inked the edges; I used Vintage photo Distress Ink for this. I used book pages, ephemera, a photo from my stash, some paper roses, some metal and a ribbon which wash tied in a bow. I also used a bit of ribbon for the top. 

After inking all the edges I glued everything in place.

Today I have a card to share. I made this for the Challenge over at De Stempelwinkel where the theme is 'women'. So here goes:

This is a really simple card. I took some black card stock and adhered the pink patterned paper on the top. I did ink the edges before I glued it down. The girl was stamped on some paper that came from a package of stamps and cut out with a circle die. I drew some circles around the die cut and added some Liquid Pearls. The bow is made from a strip of fabric and just glued on. Lastly the sentiment came from a stamp set about writers. All stamps are from De Stempelwinkel. 

That was it !
