 Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a tag I made with an older set called 'Gnomes and Sheep'. This is one of my favourite sets by Janet. 

How cute are they! There are a few more in the set too. I printed them, then coloured and cut them out. I used Copic Markers to colour all the images. I then cut a tag (by hand) out of watercolour card and used Distress Ink (Pumice Stone) and Distress Oxide ink (Fossilised Amber) to colour it. I just smooshed the ink pads on my craftsheet and spritzed with water after which I dunked the tag into the ink. 

When I was happy I added some stamping and washi tape. I glued down the images and the sentiment.

 Hello everyone, 

Happy Thursday! 

For today's Vera Lane Studio project I have made a journal page. 

I have used Dracula and Mina, they were released this week. 

The background is made with a mop up print from the gelli plate, I just added some stencilling and stamping. I printed and coloured the images and then cut them out. I put down some washi tape and then assembled the page. Some doodling and an ephemera heart finished it off.

Happy Thursday!

For today's Vera Lane Studio project, I have made another Memory Dex card. I used Florence Nightingale, she was released this week. 

I printed the images and coloured them with Copic Markers. I then cut them out. I die cut a memory dex card (designed by Janet for AALL & Create) and a few sprigs. I used one to put the owl on. 

The background was made by brayering Versafine Inks over it. I stamped the background and then toned it all down with white paint. I added some washi tape and placed Florence on it. Lastly I added the sprigs, the owl and the sentiment.

Hello everyone, 

Happy Thursday!

For today's Vera Lane Studio project I have made another Memory Dex card.  

I used a stencil print for the background. I stamped it here and there and then printed the images and the sentiment. This set is called 'Looking out'. I die cut some sprigs from the memory dex dies series by Janet and then started colouring the images. I used Copic Markers. 

After I cut the images out I arranged them on the card and glued everything down.

Lastly I added the sentiment.

This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone, 

Happy Thursday! Today's Vera Lane Studio post is an art journal spread. I have used the set 'Pelican Beach' which was released this week. 

Aren't they fabulous! 

I started with printing and colouring the images. I used Copic Markers. I then cut them out. Next was the background. I used acrylic paint and a brush to create a kind of sea, land and sky image. I loosely painted some clouds as well. I added some Rub-Ons (by AALL & Create #8) and some stamping. I used Janet's stamp set called African Voices (also by AALL & Create #692). 

I placed the birds on the pages and added one of the Ephemera text strips by Autour de Mwa & Co, also AALL & Create (#47). I thought this one was fun to combine with the pelicans. 

Lastly I doodled around the page and that was that!

 Hello everyone, 

Happy Thursday! For today's Vera Lane Studio post I have made a postcard with the newly released set 'Lets's Float'. 

The card itself was cut out of watercolour paper and so was the pink mat. I used a die by AALL & Create. (#26 - Frayed Frames).

I coloured the card with Distress Oxide inks and decided to leave it as it is, so not stamping or stencilling. The mat was cut out of design paper. I printed the images and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I added a little piece of washi tape to the card for the girl to stand on and then glued down the images and the sentiment. I think it came out supercute!

Welcome to my blogpost where today I am sharing a card made with 'India' which was released this week. 

I printed and coloured the images with Copic markers and a little coloured pencil. I then cut them out. The background was made with Distress Oxide Ink and resembles the Indian flag. I added a little stamping in matted it on a piece of black card stock. I then arranged the images and the sentiment.

 Hello everyone, 

For today's Vera Lane Studio project I have made a postcard with the newly released set called 'Brazil'. 

The background was made with pieces of coloured paper to which I added ink, splattering and stamping. It is a representation of a Brazilian flag. It was cut out with AALL & Create die #26. I glued all the pieces on top of each other and then matted it on a piece of white card stock. 

The images were printed, coloured with Copic Markers and cut out. I added them to the card and that was that!

Happy Thursday! For today's VLS post I have made a journal spread with Miss Dee's Dogs.

First I printed and coloured Miss Dee and then cut her out. I used Copic Markers to colour her. The background was made with Distress Oxide ink which I smooshed on one of Janet's stencils and then printed in my book. I did each page separately. I added some stamping and washi tape for a bit more interest and then placed the image and the sentiment on the pages.
