Merry X-mas

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I have a Christmas card to share with you. I made this as an inspiration piece for the Lost Coast Designs December Challenge... If you want to play along you can find it HERE.

This is basically a piece of Gelli Print that I didn't really like when I made it. This was in the summer but now these wintery colours are perfect. So I started with stamping the background and then put the X-Mas on there. Next the little girl was stamped on Adirondack paper and partly coloured. I cut her out discarding the little frilly bits behind her feet and the flowers in her hand. I replaced the flowers with a star. She was adhered to the card to stand on the 'A'. Lastly I used Tim Holtz stickers for the 'merry'.
I used the following Lost Coast Designs Stamps:
License Plate Alphabet
Loopy Calligraphy
Love Dictionary
Flying Ballerina

You can now get these beautiful stamps in the Netherlands; if you'd like some then visit : www.Inkadinkadutchies.nl

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it and got some inspiration to play in the Challenge ! You could win a $10 voucher !

  1. Ik blijf dit een super stempel vinden en iedereen verwerkt 'm weer zo mooi en anders! Gaaf hoe ze in wit/licht zo naar voren komt! Groetjes, Gerrina

  2. Wat een lieve Kerstkaart Corrie!!
    Groetjes, Alie :-)

  3. I love how you have "altered" the girl stamp to fit better with the theme of the challenge, Corrie. Also love your "summer-turned-winter" color palette! A great make, my friend! Love it!

  4. Absolutely delightful Corrie!!! I will try to do a bit of catch-up on your blog, but rather tomorrow I think, cos I'm cream crackered now sorry :) Hugs, Coco xx
