Bob's in..... danger !!

Hello fellow Crafters,

It's Wednesday,  Christmas is over,  and it is the 5th and final day of the Stampotique month-long challenge set by Kim. This is what she said:

"This our last challenge of the year and it will run the whole month of December.  Our theme is an easy one so show us your best work using Anything Goes.
For this month only, you will have the opportunity to enter the challenge 5 times (one for each week)- 5 chances to win the random $30 gift certificate for Stampotique stamps. We hope we see a lot of you entering!".

I made a card:

I painted a piece of card stock with blue and white acrylic paint. I shaded the edges with Big Brush Pitt pens also in blue. Next I did some background stamping.
The firework was hand drawn and coloured with Copics. Bob, his hat and the flags were all stamped on white card stock and also coloured with Copics. I then cut them out and went around the edges with a black marker to colour any white edges that were left after cutting them out. I did stamp just the top of the flags on the card so that I could see where to adhere them and to have the string on the card as that would be very difficult to cut out. Next I adhered everything to the card. The 'new year' was made with sticky letters. I used the following stamps for this card:

Thanks for stopping by ! Have a great New Years eve and a very happy and healthy New Year !

  1. What a fabulous New Year card, Corrie, with all the lovely bright colours! 'Bob' looks ready to see in 2015 as he joins in the festivities!
Wishing you a Happy New Year with lots of craftyness!!!

  2. Love your New Year greeting, Corrie! Bob seems quite content to be shooting off for a new start in 2015! Great and vibrant colors for this fun project. Love also your subtle background support added by "Ticket to Paris"! Happy New Year, my dear friend! Mwah!

  3. This is fabulous Corrie, I love the contrast of colors and the firecracker is great!

  4. Wonderful card, love the colours and the huge firework. Bob looks very happy but maybe he should be strapped onto the firework so he doesn't fall off lol.

    HAPPY 2015 :-) xxx

  5. Definitely ending the year with a BANG!
Your creations always hit the mark with your joyful way with colour and your choice of stamps.
This is brilliant and love that you created a hand-drawn firework for Bob to sit upon.
Corrie, thank you for all your fabulous art you share with us and thank you for your friendship and encouragement.
I cannot wait to see what you will be creating in 2015.
All The Very Best For The New Year.

  6. Fabulous card, beautiful colors! Love that wick! Xx

  7. Ik vind dit een plaatje! Alleen wel een gevaarlijke positie... Blijft gaaf hoe je er een grappige twist aan geeft! Groetjes, Gerrina
