and happy Wednesday to you all. This weeks challenge over at the Stampotique Designers' Challenge blog is 'One Stamp', set by the lovely Samantha ! This is what she said:
"One of the beauties of Stampotique stamps is even though there are 18 amazing artists designing our rubbery goodness and their images work so well together it's great to use a lot of stamps for one project, I often do.
So this week, I am challenging myself too and inviting you to use just one stamp . . . wondering off scratching head and rubbing chin . . . this is going to be SO hard to choose!!
Most importantly, have fun, Sam x"
This is not easy, as Sam already said ... I made an art journal and this is it:
The background is made with a gelli print. All I added was some white chevrons with a stencil, which are very subtle and some white splatters. I used my sewing machine to go around the page. I stamped "Angel Boy"on white card stock, coloured him with Copic Markers and cut him out. I added some glitter glue to his wings as you can see on the detail photo. Next I adhered him to the page. Lastly I used my newly acquired typewriter to type the sentiment. It was great fun making this page with limited materials...
Why not play along too. You can win one of two $ 30 vouchers to spend in the Stampotique Online shop HERE. Only rules : One entry per person, per challenge and no digi's.
Thanks for stopping by !
Hope you like it.....
Goed gelukt met maar 1 stempel...een lekkere GP achtergrond en de glitters doen het goed op de vleugels.
ReplyDeleteMooi Corrie!
Groetjes, Alie
Your journal pages always looks fabulous, Corrie. I really should play in my journal more often!
ReplyDeleteMooie achtergrond en wat komt deze stempel er mooi op uit! Dat kleine beetje glitter maakt het helemaal mooi! Groetjes, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteThat background is so subtle and pretty cool. I love how you've added some glitter to Angel Boys wings. Beautiful page
ReplyDeleteziet er weer prachtig uit, leuk dat vleugje glitter!
ReplyDeleteGroetjes Karin
prachtig gemaakt, mooi die vleugels zo.
ReplyDeleteThe gentle background works really well with angle boy! Lovely page Corrie !
ReplyDeleteI seem to admire most those creations made with stamps I don't have! There is a madness in this! Angel Boy intimidates me, however, because of the intricacy of his wings--yet you have so cleverly made them perfect! Well done! Also well done is your photography showing the glimmer beautifully!
ReplyDeleteLove it Corrie, wonderful sparkle in Angel Boys wings xx
ReplyDeleteGreat background for this awesome stamp
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful Corrie, you did one stamp very proud, Angel Boy rocks :) xx
ReplyDeleteReally gorgeous, love the little touches of glitter on the wings.. I have this stamp but never used it yet! When I see your card, I tell myself that it's really a shame! :) xx
