Hello

Hello fello Crafters,

After I made the tag (see underneath) for the Tag Along Blog I made another ATC. The card was on my desk from yesterday when I did a few more than I needed for the Stampotique Challenge 'use gesso'.

This time I put the gesso on through a stencil and after drying I sprayed it with yellow and orange Dylusions Ink sprays. I distressed the edges with Ripe Persimmon ink.  I stamped Carol's flower and Waving Spotted Monster, from Stampotique of course, on white card, coloured them with watercolour pencils and clear embossed them. I have to say that the photo doesn't do the colours justice. It looks a bit brighter in real life. I suppose it is the weather which is grey and wet and my camera doesn't seen to want to photograph green I glued the monster on top of a bit of washi tape and drew a stem for the flower. Lastly I put the Hello on. '
Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you like it.

  1. The clear embossing adds wonderful dimension to the images and Iike the use of Gesso for your background. Where would be all be without Gesso?!

  4. It seems as though you have enjoyed playing with gesso the last few days, Corrie, and it definitely shows! This ATC is just such a happy piece of art, and I love that you created a stem and a bit of grass for Carol's (beautiful) flower! Way to go!
