and welcome to my blogpost for Roc Nicholas. She designs fabulous stamps for Stampotique Originals. This is one of my favourites and I used her on a mini Art Journal page.
This background was in my stash for ages and I loved it so much I didn't want to use it. Does that happen to you ? It is a mop up page I made after a gelli printing session. Sometimes they come out nicer then the actual print.
I decided to use "Daisy Head" because she is one of my favourites. I lengthened her body slightly to accommodate the wings. These come from a pack of ephemera by Tim Holtz called Botanical Layers. It was actually a butterfly that I just the wings off.
Daisy was coloured with Copic Markers and cut out. The whole thing was finished with some Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers and a piece of dictionary paper.
Thank you for stopping by today !
Schitterend Corrie !

Hi there, I love this image and I love what you have done with her, she is what drew me into your lovely Blog as I used this stamp a long long time ago but have never seen it since. It was my very first "out there" piece of work. . I was looking for a "follow" button but can't find ne in here.
ReplyDeleteHi, the follow button is on the right side of my blog. I moved it up to the top now so it is easier to see... Hope this helps !
