Hello fellow Crafters,
Happy Wednesday and today it is Nellie's turn to set the challenge over at the Stampotique Designers' Challenge blog. She chose humour and this is what she said :
I love cards with a wink. They often bring a smile to my face. Stampotique has so many fun stamps to make these cards, images as well as words. So come on, show me, use a bit of humour in your card or project. Who makes me laugh out the loudest this week? I am already looking forward to your entries for this challenge!
This is my take on the challenge:
It is a page in my mini Moleskine. I started with a page that had the chicken wire stencil in model paste already on it. I then painted the page with yellow and orange PaperArtsy Fresco paints. I also sprayed some glimmer mist on it and made it drip. The white dots were made with white ink and a pencil eraser. Next I used Stampotique's Bla bla bla stamp with dark brown ink which I also used to rub around the edges of the page. I then stamped Goat Monster, also by Stampotique, on white card, coloured him with alcohol markers, clear embossed him and cut him out. I adhered him to the page on some washi tape after stamping the image again straight on the page. This way, when you glue the cut out image on top, you haven't lost any of the detail. Lastly I adhered the sentiment (said by Robert de Niro as Travis Bickle in the film Taxidriver, 1976), doodled around the letters with a black pen and with a white one I put white dots around the big dots.
Thanks for stopping by !
Hope you like it and it made you giggle at least.....
haha, gave kaart!

Corrie, this page from your mini Moleskine is absolutely adorable, and, of course, is likewise humerus when you have actually heard the line said in the movie!! Great background with the chicken wire and modeling paste. The Bla Bla Bla stamp is also perfect for your background! You rocked this one, my friend!
