Life is good

 Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog where today I am sharing another card for AALL & Create.

Here is how I made it:

First I cut out a card with Die #34. I used 250 gsm card stock.

I then put washi tape all over. I used the #121 Blush Parcels tape. I love it ! The colours are amazing.

Next I spent some time stamping these butterflies. I stamped them first with Versafine Clair in Morning Mist (grey) I then reinked with different colours Distress Oxide ink and spritzed with water. I then stamped over the top of the grey. I did use a stamping tool for positioning perfectly.
Distress Oxide colours used: Dusty Concord, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Salvaged Patina, Broken China.

I toned down the background slightly with white acrylic paint, particularly where the butterflies were going to go. I do this so the focal images stand out more. I also added a tiny bit of stamping (sets #366 and #1110), not too much as I really liked this background.

Also added some rub-ons from set #12.

Chose my sentiment from Ephemera set #47.

I then coloured a piece of card stock with Distress Oxide ink Dusty Concord with a blending tool and cut out the mat from the same die set #34.

And here it is. I think it turned out nice and soft and feminine.
