Merry & Bright

 Hello everyone,

For today's AALL & Create project I have made a Christmas card. It is not a conventional card but in my opinion they are the best ones.

Here's how:

Fist I cut a card out of Design paper #7 with die #26.

Next I used a brayer and Distress Oxide ink in Weathered Wood to roll some ink over white card stock. I then stamped some houses from set #1232.

I wanted to used these houses as a background. I coloured them with Distress Oxide Inks in Weathered Wood and Victorian Velvet. I used a water brush to do this.
In the end I only used 1 of the images. (The one on the right).

Back to the background. I used a brayer to roll some white paint over the card and also some of the grey Oxide. I then added stamping with sets #1162 and #1156 and Versafine Clair Nocturne and Distress Oxide in Weathered Wood.

I added a rub on from set #12.

This image was going to be my focal point. I coloured him with Copic Markers and cut him out.

I just got this washi tape this week so I had to use some of it.. It's #121 Blush Parcels.

I decided to add a sentiment from this Miss Dee set #1193 - Deelights. I also added splatters with a white paint pen.

Lastly I added a black mat.

  1. It’s a beautiful make but I wouldn’t have any in my family/circle of friends that would appreciate it
