Gentleman

Hello everyone,

and welcome to my blog where today I'll be sharing my challenge which starts today over at  the Stampotique Designers' Challenge blog.
I chose the theme "Masculine" as I really struggle with cards for men. So why don't you show me what you make when you need a masculine card.
I have made a postcard but I don't think it is very 'manly' ! :o)

I started off with a piece of white card stock measuring 6" x 4" and used a Tim Holtz stencil (latticework) and Distress Ink and a blending tool to make the background. I dripped some water on it  and went around the edges with same blending tool. I used Weathered Wood and Chipped Sapphire.
Next I stamped Pedro and the chandelier straight onto the card. I also stamped Pedro and his hat on a separate piece of card stock and coloured them with my Copic markers. I also coloured the chandelier with my Copics but straight onto the card. Pedro and the hat were cut out and adhered to the card.
I used a label maker to create the sentiment and stuck it on.
That was it !

I used the following stamps:

I would love it if you played along with us this week so I can learn how to make masculine cards. You could win one of two $30 vouchers at the end of the month..
Just remember NO digi's and only one entry per challenge per person...

Thank you so much for stopping by today !
