Read

Hello everyone,

This is my first of two posts for today. I fancied playing along with some challenges so that is what I did. The first one I did is over at the Art Journey blog where the challenge this month is : Make a bookmark. Here's mine:

The bookmark was painted with acrylic paints. After these dried I stamped the background and went around the edge with a black ink pad. Next I stamped the three flowers on book paper, cut them out and adhered them to the tag. The word read was made by cutting letters out of the same book paper. Lastly I glued the whole thing on a bit of card stock and added some ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by today !

  3. Beautiful colours, they are bold but also there is such elegance to them and the book paper flowers look stand against the background so beautifully by the fact you did not colour them, I love that mix of the black and white flowers against that colourful background.
