Girl Power

Hello everyone,

Over at the Stampingback Challenge blog HERE, there is a new challenge..
I made a card :


I mostly concentrated on the colours of the inspiration photo (see the Stampingback link above) as I don't have any trains, planes or automobiles from Stampingback. I guess I have to buy some more !! 
Anyway I stamped the girl, coloured her and masked her off with masking fluid. I then coloured the background with Distress Inks and a blending tool. Next I stamped the background, the sentiment and added the doodle around the edge. I still thought it wasn't finished so I added some model paste through a home made stencil. I adhered the panel to a card and that was it ! 

I used stamps from the following sheets:
023 - 146b and 124a

  2. Zoals je deze vrouw hebt afgebeeld in de bijna lege omgeving...toont ze zeker extra sterk, alsof niemand zich in haar buurt waagt Corrie! Het zorgde weer voor een flinke glimlach...dank je!

  5. Mooie kaart maar het is overigens bij onze challenge helemaal niet verplicht om Stampinback stempels te gebruiken hoor.

  6. Toen ik deze kaart langs zag komen als bijdrage aan de challenge moest ik even heel diep nadenken. Het was toch naar aanleiding van mijn advertentie? Toen viel het kwartje: je hebt totaal een ander 'iets' uit die advertentie gehaald, de kleurencombi. Ik vind het niet alleen een mooie kaart, maar ik vind vooral jouw interpretatie geniaal!
