The Wizard of Oz, the continuing story ...

Hello fellow Crafters,

I did another art journal with a Wizard of Oz theme today. I am really enjoying doing these, can you tell ??

I painted the page with gesso first and then with blue and green paint. I then coloured some typing paper with Distress Inks in the rainbow colours and cut out the circles with my Cuttlebug. I arranged them on the page until I was happy with it. Next I adhered them with gel medium, carefully as it makes the ink move again. I then used my Faber Castell Big Brush markers and shaded the circles and the sky around it. The india ink in these markers can be moved on a non-porous surface for a short while. I used two stamps for the background : Fax to Wolfgang and Folded tags. I used the Big Brush markers to stamp as well. Just scribbled on the stamps and stamped !!

I stamped Bushes directly on the page using Stazon, sort of between the green and the blue and coloured them as well with the Big Brush markers.  Next I stamped Dorothy, also with Stazon directly on the page and another time with Memento on white card stock. I coloured her with Copic Markers, clear embossed her, cut her out and adhered her on top of her twin on the page. Lastly I (hand)wrote the text on the left page.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it......
