It's been lovely....

Hello fellow Crafters,

I had some problems with my project for the Roc Nicholas DT and had to take it down. My fault for not reading the rules and regulations. So I made something new and I hope you like this one as much as the Happy Spring one....

It is a page in my Moleskine watercolour journal. I coloured the pages with Pan Pastels in Yellow and Orange and sprayed it with fixative. After it dried I used my homemade polkadot stencil and some Distress Ink to make the dots. The white polkadots were made with another stencil and white ink.  The rings came from a TWC stencil called 'well rounded' and were made with Black DI.  I used two of Roc's lovely stamps: Screaming Bunny and Heart Vine.
The Heart Vine was stamped directly on the page and coloured with markers, the rabbit was stamped on dictionary paper and I couldn't resist using the bit saying 'rabbit' ! I coloured him with Copics and clear embossed him. I then used a die and cut some circles, inked the edges with orange ink and glued them down. The largest one was to put Bunny on.
I have used this sentiment before but I think it is very funny and decided to use it again. I used sticky letters and the same yellow card stock as I used for the circles. I also inked the edges and glued it down.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it....

  1. Another great use of Screaming Bunny, Corrie. Very artsy to have him in the spotlight, too!

  6. I totally love this. The bunny stamped onto dictionary paper saying "rabbit" is so very clever. He's colored beautifully.

I also really love the background you created with your Pan Pastels, stencils, and Distress ink.

The sentiment makes me giggle too, which is always a good thing!

  7. What a fabulous page - the sunshine colours just glow, and the screaming bunny lets it all out in a very healthy way! Rules and regulations can really stump creativity sometimes - but not here!!
