Altered Angel

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I have made a postcard for the April Swap over at the Roc Nicholas FB page. This is so much fun to do. Why not hop over and take part as well ! Rules are simple, make a postcard using Roc's stamps, put it on her FB page and she will partner you up with somebody. So you will get a nice postcard back. Anyway, this is what I made :

I started with spraying some white card stock with Calypso Teal Dylusions Ink. I then used some water-soluble crayons to put some more colour on it; turquoise, purple and green in this case. I used a Dylusions stencil for the flowers with Distress Inks in turquoise, purple and green. The white dots were done by hand with a Versamark marker and white embossed. I also used a text stamp and black Archival Ink to create even more interest; also used the same ink to go around the edges of the card. Lastly I splattered some black India Ink over it. I stamped 'Blessed Skellie' on white card stock, coloured her with Copics and clear embossed her. I replaced her non-existing eye with the eye from the 'Feline' stamp.  The words came from another Stampotique Stamp. Skellie was placed on some washi tape and that was that !
If you think these stamps are nice and you want some, you can find them HERE.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it....

  7. Great use of both stamps, Corrie, but, especially clever how you used the eye from Feline and transplanted it here! Great background with rich colors set a perfect stage for Skellie!
