Challenge # 8 - Stamping Cottage

Hello fellow Crafters,

First of all I would like to thank Angela and Marga from the Stamping Cottage for choosing me as the winner of last months colour challenge ! So happy.

This month the Challenge is : Make a tag with only text. This is what I have made:

I started with adhering book text to a #8 Manilla tag and painting it with white gesso. I then coloured the tag with Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks. I used a Stampotique stamp (Fax to Wolfgang) to stamp some more text. I wrapped some twine around the bottom which I secured with staples. I used the same twine to put through the hole. I then coloured some paper flowers with Dylusions in Dirty Martini and Fresh lime and distressed the edges with Walnut stain Distress Ink. I used a metal washer and a brad for the centres of the flowers. Lastly I made another label, coloured it the same way,  stamped my text on it and stapled it to the tag.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it.....
